This is what a practice looks like from the inside. My day gathers what is due, what is in progress and what somebody has to decide today; it is not a new to-do list, it is your practice’s own data sorted by date.
A deadline is more than a date. This motion for reconsideration shows the rule it comes from, the date of the triggering event and the days that did not count, so you can check the calculation instead of taking it on faith.

Let's start from scratch. Open Custodio, choose to create an account and type your name, your email and a password of at least twelve characters.
Accept the terms and the data authorization —they are two separate acts— and create the account. In the live service you will get a link to confirm your email; in this local demo the confirmation is automatic.
Your practice asks for two details, and both arrive pre-filled. Confirm them and open it: nothing else needs to be set up to get started.
Your practice is not born empty. Custodio left a sample matter with fictitious data: a contract, the facts it extracted from it and a conversation already answered.

Frequently asked questions
What lawyers ask before creating an account
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. You ask in Spanish and it answers in Spanish, over documents written in Spanish. The whole application is in Spanish and English, and you choose which one from your account.
What currency am I charged in?
In the one the price list publishes for your country, and in most countries that is your own: pesos, colones or reais, at the figure you see, with no conversion in between. Where the list is in dollars, the charge is in dollars; if your currency is another one, your bank converts on the day of the charge and under the price we show a reference in yours, at the month's rate. The payment is processed by a merchant abroad, so your card issuer may add its own fee for an international purchase; we neither set that fee nor collect it.
How is the AI billed?
Through a monthly AI credit allowance, and nothing else. Updating where a matter stands, extracting the facts from a document, writing a draft or answering a question all draw from the same allowance; nothing is charged per matter or per document. It is a hard limit, never an overage: when the allowance runs out the AI stops, everything already produced stays, and nothing is charged above your plan. Getting started is free, and the price of each paid plan is published for each country, in the currency it is charged in.
Which law covers my data?
Under the data protection law of your firm's country, which is the one named in the contract you sign and the one that sets the deadlines we answer a data subject request within. Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the original of your documents does not stay on our servers, and the privacy policy states which provider processes what, and from where.

We open country by country, and in Colombia, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil you can sign up today.
