We check the judicial portals of Colombia, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica for you

You register the case number once. When a new filing appears, it reaches you with the document behind it — not when the deadline is already running. Colombia, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.

This is what a practice looks like from the inside. My day gathers what is due, what is in progress and what somebody has to decide today; it is not a new to-do list, it is your practice’s own data sorted by date.

A deadline is more than a date. This motion for reconsideration shows the rule it comes from, the date of the triggering event and the days that did not count, so you can check the calculation instead of taking it on faith.

My agenda brings deadlines, hearings and milestones together in a single calendar, up to ninety days ahead. None of it was typed twice: it comes from the same matters.

It all starts with the filing number. Twenty-three digits, and Custodio reads them: department, city, entity, specialty, court, year and number. You register it once, and from then on Custodio checks it every day.

This is the matter behind that filing number. When the court publishes a new filing, it appears on its timeline with the date and the note: here, the order admitting the tutela — Colombia's constitutional claim — and directing service on the respondent.

The bell tells you without your having to go in and look, and the practice owner also decides which addresses get the update and how often.

Back to the matter. You can ask questions in plain language about the documents Custodio has already read, and before you send it you see what the question costs and how many AI credits your practice has left.

Let us ask what urgent medical condition the clinical record in this matter states. This demo's answer is prepared in advance, so the walkthrough is always the same.

The answer arrives with its source cited, and the citation opens. Custodio keeps the reference and the extracted text, not the original file, and the professional decision stays yours. Start free at custodio.legal.

The problem today

The case file lives everywhere except where you need it

Email, WhatsApp, folders, memory. Before a hearing or a client meeting, time goes into reconstructing what happened.

  1. Information is scattered

Filings, documents and emails end up in different places, and nothing connects them to each other.

  2. You find out too late

A deadline or a new filing can go unnoticed until it's too late to act calmly.

  3. Reconstructing «what happened» takes time

Re-reading the whole case file before every meeting is time that doesn't get billed and shouldn't be necessary.

How it works

The idea, in four steps

1

You bring in the information

Your matter's documents and filings, uploaded when you need them; the original does not stay on our servers.

2

Custodio understands it

It reads every document and filing, and connects them to the case they belong to.

3

It keeps memory of the case

Everything that happened stays organized and searchable — it doesn't get lost across folders or email threads.

4

It shows you what changed and why

What needs your attention, with the filing or document that backs it always within reach.

Where we are

Presence across Latin America

In each country we check its court portal and sign with you under its data protection law; the price is the same, in dollars, for all four.

Matter Intelligence

All your matter context, in one place

A single surface where the matter reads whole: what happened, what changed since your last review, and which document backs each thing.

Evidence and human control

The decision is always yours

Custodio Legal is meant to show and back up what it shows, not to decide for you.

The final judgment stays with the lawyer

What the system flags is support, not a decision. You verify every change it shows before you act on it.

Traceable evidence

Every alert links back to the document or filing that produced it, not to a loose statement.

Your documents do not stay on our servers

Custodio reads the file, extracts what it needs to understand the matter and does not keep the original: the copy stays yours. What it keeps is the text and where it came from, linked to the filing that produced it.

What we say about your data is written down and published: every measure links to the clause that binds us to it.

MCP integration

Bring Custodio's context into the assistant you already use

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or the assistant you already use about your matters, without copying information from one window to another. Custodio has its own MCP server, developed and operated by us, and you decide what it gets to see.

Available on Pro, Max, and Teams. The client must support remote MCP with OAuth.

Read the connection guide
Custodio serverhttps://custodio.legal/mcp

One public URL; access is granted in Custodio through OAuth and can be revoked from your account.

An open protocol

The assistant discovers only what Custodio publishes, over an open protocol. It does not depend on a closed integration with one brand.

Permissions for one firm

You authorize one person, one firm, and specific scopes. You never share your password or hand the assistant a standing credential.

Approval stays in Custodio

The assistant can read and prepare certain actions; it cannot approve or execute them through MCP. You review and confirm inside Custodio.

Who it's for

Matter Intelligence for the way you work

The same Matter Intelligence for a solo lawyer and for a team that needs to coordinate judgment and priorities.

Solo lawyer

Matter Intelligence, always ready

See what changed, what needs attention, and the supporting evidence without rebuilding the file before every decision.

Firm or legal team

Shared context for better decisions

Assign responsibility and review the same matter intelligence without depending on personal folders or one person's memory.

Custodio is for you if any of these sound familiar

  • You juggle several case files at once and lose time figuring out where each one stands.
  • You want to know about an important change as soon as it happens, not once the deadline has already passed.
  • You'd rather check the evidence yourself before trusting a summary.
Frequently asked questions

What lawyers ask before creating an account

Where do my documents live?

You keep the original file. Custodio reads its contents, stores the text and where it came from, and keeps no copy of the file: that is what lets it show you what changed.

How do I get started?

Create your free account, no card required, and you will have your first matter loaded in minutes. The Free plan includes one seat, 15 open matters and 750,000 AI credits per month; when your practice asks for more you change plan from inside the app.

How much does it cost?

Getting started is free. Paid plans start at 15 USD per month for one lawyer — the same list in all four countries — with unlimited open matters from Pro up, and Teams is billed by the seat. Every price is published on the pricing page and billed monthly through Polar.sh, with nothing charged on top of your plan.

How does Matter Intelligence work?

Matter Intelligence organizes the context of the case file to help you identify changes, priorities and the evidence behind them: summaries, analysis, drafts and — depending on your plan — questions over your documents, all drawing on the same monthly AI credit allowance.

What happens to my current cases if I join?

You bring them in at your own pace: you can register historical matters with their filing number and add the documents you already have. Judicial monitoring follows them from day one and the AI reads what you add.

Does the AI train on my data?

No. We use our AI providers' programming interface, and neither their published terms nor the options we have enabled with them allow them to use the content we send to train or improve their models. The provider that generates the text also declares that it does not keep that content: it processes it and does not store it. Which providers those are, what country they are in, and what guarantee each one carries is written in the privacy policy.

How do you protect my data?

With AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive fields, every request over HTTPS, and without keeping the original of the documents you add: what is stored is the text and where it came from, not the file. The details are on the security page.
