It reads the documents your firm added and, where there is a court portal, what the portal published about your cases. It does not search for someone else's case law or bring in text from another site.

What the AI does not decide, and why that matters

Everything it says has a document behind it
No sentence stands on its own: you open the source from the answer itself and check whether it says what the AI understood.
The last word is yours to sign
The AI prepares the material; sending, filing or delegating is the lawyer's act, and the product only runs it after a human confirmation.
Your matters do not feed any model
With each AI provider it is contracted and configured that what we send cannot be used to train or improve their models.
Who those providers are, what country they are in and what guarantee each one carries is set out in the privacy policy. Of the original document we keep the text and where it came from, not the file.

The matter's own: the ones your firm uploaded and, where there is a court portal, what the portal published about the case. Outside that it looks at nothing.
How do I check where an answer came from?
Because the answer opens the document it comes from and every assertion in the matter's state arrives with the evidence behind it cited alongside. What has no source in the matter is not asserted.
Does the AI decide or sign anything on its own?
No. The AI prepares and you decide: a draft, a message or a task leaving the firm goes through a human confirmation first, always.
Is it trained on my data?
