Case lookup on the e-SAJ: TJSP, TJAM and TJAC
Of the country's 27 state courts, only three open their anonymous search with no errors: São Paulo, Amazonas and Acre. The portal is in Portuguese; this guide says what to ask it and what it returns.
Open the TJSP's e-SAJOne system, one court per domain
The e-SAJ (Sistema de Automação da Justiça), by Softplan, is the system of several Brazilian state courts, but each deploys it on its own domain, and not all of them open their anonymous lookup. In the 13 September 2026 sweep of the 27 tribunais de justiça and the 6 tribunais regionais federais, only three opened their cpopg — Consulta de Processos do 1º Grau — from both measured origins: São Paulo (TJSP), Amazonas (TJAM) and Acre (TJAC).
The form takes the unique case number, a party’s name, their document, or a lawyer’s OAB number, and asks for no account for the anonymous search. It is entirely in Portuguese.
There's a technical difference between the three: in the TJSP the movimentações (docket entries) load separately, with an extra step; in the TJAM and the TJAC they already come inside the case's page.

Each court runs its own e-SAJ; there's no single search tool for the country's 27.

TJAC — Tribunal de Justiça do Acre
esaj.tjac.jus.br/cpopg/open.do — same as Amazonas: the case's page carries the full movimentações.
All three are publicly accessible and require no account for the anonymous search.
How to look up a case
The first step is identifying the court; the rest is practically the same across all three.

Each Brazilian court has its own system; there is no single search, and only these three opened their anonymous e-SAJ lookup in the measurement.
Open that court's cpopg/open.do
It's the entry point of the "Consulta de Processos do 1º Grau", in Portuguese, with no account needed for the anonymous search.
Choose the criterion: unique number, party's name, document or OAB
The form takes the case’s unique number, a party’s name, their document or the lawyer’s OAB number.
Open the case and check the movimentações
In the TJSP they load separately, with an extra click; in the TJAM and the TJAC they already come inside the case's page.

- Nothing, even when the case exists: a 200 response with the text "Não existem informações disponíveis para os parâmetros informados" is how the portal says "no results", not a network error.
What the e-SAJ doesn't cover
Three open courts are a measured fraction of the country, not the whole country.
- Only three courts opened their anonymous lookup in the measurement: TJSP, TJAM and TJAC. The rest do not answer, use another system (PJe, Eproc, Projudi) or refuse the connection at the edge.
- The e-SAJ does not cover the DJEN notices, the national channel, which today answers «blocked from your country» to the product’s connections.
- A case under secrecy of justice shows neither its parties nor its movimentações, even when the number exists.
- The portal is in Portuguese and offers no other language.

Frequently asked questions about the e-SAJ search
How do I know which court to search my case in?
The court handling the case is encoded in the unique case number (CNJ) itself, in the court segment — this site's CNJ numbering guide explains how to read it.
Does the e-SAJ have an English version?
No: the portal is entirely in Portuguese, like the rest of the Brazilian Judiciary.
Why does a case I know exists show nothing?
It may be under secrecy of justice, or the number may be mistyped. The portal doesn't tell the two causes apart: in both cases it replies that there's no information.
Does an empty result mean the case doesn't exist?
Not necessarily: the e-SAJ replies with a 200 status — a successful response — even when it has nothing to show. It's worth double-checking the number before concluding the case doesn't exist.
