Four Argentine jurisdictions run iurix with a public search, each on its own domain. This guide says which one to ask based on the CUIJ, and what each one accepts.
Open the City of Buenos Aires' iurixOne system, four portals
Iurix is the court-management system that runs, with an anonymous public lookup, in four of Argentina’s twenty-four jurisdictions: the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Mendoza and Salta. Each deploys it on its own domain, with no single search across the four. In the City of Buenos Aires it covers the local courts — administrative and tax, criminal and misdemeanour, consumer —; the City’s civil, commercial and labour cases run in the federal judiciary (Poder Judicial de la Nación).
The CUIJ's jurisdiction code — the number's second segment — says which portal to ask: 01 is the City of Buenos Aires, 03 Catamarca, 13 Mendoza and 17 Salta. With no CUIJ, you need to already know which court the case was filed in.
A portal that's open today can close with no notice: Corrientes ran iurix with a public search until 2 June 2025, when it took it offline.
Where each portal lives
All four run the same system, under two visible names («EJE» in the City of Buenos Aires, «Gestión de Causas» in the other three), but on different domains.

Identify the jurisdiction from the CUIJ
The CUIJ's second segment is the jurisdiction code: 01 City of Buenos Aires, 03 Catamarca, 13 Mendoza, 17 Salta. That code says which portal to ask.

Each one runs the same system, iurix, but on its own domain: there's no single search tool for all four.
Choose the criterion: CUIJ, number and year, caption or party
The application is the same in all four: by CUIJ or by number and year it returns one exact case file; by case caption or by party it returns a list.

What the list returns depends on the criterion.
- The case number, the year and the caption of every match.
- The CUIJ, which identifies the case file in all four jurisdictions.
- The court or judge in charge.
- The full list when the criterion is broad: in the City of Buenos Aires, the caption «EJECUCION FISCAL» alone returned over a million case files, so narrow it down with the number, the year or the CUIJ.
What this guide doesn't cover
Four jurisdictions are not the whole twenty-four; it's worth knowing what's left out.
- Only four of the country's twenty-four jurisdictions publish an iurix public search: the rest run other systems or offer no anonymous search.
- A portal that's open today can close: Corrientes had a public iurix and took it offline on 2 June 2025.
- The Province of Buenos Aires (its MEV has no anonymous lookup) and the federal judiciary — which includes the City’s civil, commercial and labour courts — are outside this guide.
- The CUIJ format is not unique: the City of Buenos Aires and Catamarca write it long, and Mendoza and Salta write it short.

Is the CUIJ written the same way in all four jurisdictions?

What about the other provinces?
They do not run iurix with an anonymous public lookup: each has its own system, and some — like the Province of Buenos Aires’ MEV — offer no anonymous lookup.
Is the information up to date?
