Finding out that something moved is not the work
In Uruguay the alert already exists and it is free: the Judiciary publishes it itself. What still costs hours is everything after it, and it is always the same — read the ruling, work out what it orders, count the deadline, prepare the reply, and remember the matter nobody has opened in two months.

The Uruguayan number is written as the office, the registration number and the year. Custodio normalizes it before looking it up, so you paste it however you have it written down.
It is checked every day
The case title, the status and every filing with its date, its kind and the court that issued it. The portal states that case file information is updated to the last business day, and that is what you will see: yesterday's close, not the minute.
The artificial intelligence reads it

Deadlines under the Código General del Proceso with the three regimes of article 94, the major recess, the minor recess and Semana de Turismo, which are the windows that suspend the count.
Habeas Data: an access, rectification or deletion request arriving through the public channel is handled under the five-business-day term of Ley N° 18.331, counted on the Uruguayan calendar.
Two caveats, said here and not in small print. A case file the Judiciary keeps under seal is not visible through this channel: the portal answers with that status and with no other data, for Custodio exactly as for anyone else. And the Uruguayan deadline catalog is written against the text of the code and is waiting for a Uruguayan lawyer's review before any computation is treated as settled.

There is one Uruguayan detail worth knowing before you subscribe: if the buyer is a firm that pays IRAE, the rules require it to withhold tax on payments abroad, while a sole practitioner taxed under IRPF withholds nothing. What exactly does the artificial intelligence do?
It pulls out the facts of every ruling and every document, says where the matter stands and what changed with the latest filing, proposes the deadline that is running and drafts filings in Word. It also answers plain-language questions about your matter's documents, citing the document each answer comes from. Nothing is sent to anyone: you review it and you sign it.
What about hearings?
The Judiciary publishes a hearing lookup separately from the case file lookup, and criminal matters do appear there. Custodio reads it and brings back date, time, court and case title. When the hearing belongs to a matter of yours, it lands in your day and in your calendar like any other commitment.
How often is a case file checked?
Every business day. The portal itself states that case file information is updated to the last business day, so that is what Custodio shows you and it promises nothing more: what you see today is yesterday's close.
How is an IUE written?
Office, hyphen, registration number, slash and year. Leading zeros change nothing, but spaces do: the portal answers exactly as it does for a case file that does not exist. Custodio normalizes the number before looking it up, so that mistake never reaches you.
Does it compute deadlines under the Código General del Proceso?
Article 94 has three rules depending on how long the term is, and the judicial recesses and Semana de Turismo suspend the one counted in days. The Uruguayan catalog is written with those three rules and is waiting for a Uruguayan lawyer's review before Custodio treats a computation as settled.
